My first day with rain, but next to that it was a very nice walk. But saying good bye in Gütersloh was a bit sad. It was so nice there and I enjoyed Famnily life and just by accident everybody of the family was there so I got to know all of them, after hearing for years stories of them :-)  So, I am still impressed of the nature in this area of our country. Really beautiful but it seems to be the corn area of your country. I never have seen such big fields. Therefore it was hard to find a place to stay. There are no unused empty grasslands. As everything is just flat, I can´t camp somewhere unseen. So I started to ask people. The road I followd at this time, was - just as an info - part of the pilgrim road "camino to Santiago de Compostella". Dear farmers over there: You have to learn a lot in terms of helping people, if they ask for the permition to camp somewhere on the grassland. ...After some "no" an elder couple let me camp in distance to their house. Thanks a lot for that .... :-)
