It was in the morning at 4 a clock, when I was waking up, because it was dripping in my face. I hoped it will be a squirl peeing on my.... but now, it wa rain and it got stronger and stronger. So I jumped out of my hammock to build up my tent in the darkness. Somehow I made it before the heavy rain started. At the ende it was raining until 10 in the morning and at 11 I was back on the road. The hike to DArnstadt was so unpleasant as the day before to Bochum. Terrible ..... the outskirts are really terribe. In Darmstadt center a homeless man gave me tipps, where to stay the night, where to eat for free and all those things. So nice, but I wanted to leave the city so fast as possible. On the shopping street saw me thousands of people. It was so crowded but do you think that anyone would be interested? Not one..... only one lady came up to me to give me 2 euros when I was sitting down to make a rest. I looked like one of the many homeless people who were hanging around there. .... While checking my gps I noticed that the next 15 km are not offering anything to camp so I asked on couchsurfing for a bed. I was lucky. The first person, Burkhard, responded in minutes. There were only 10 km between him and me..... I managed that too and we spent a great evening together with really nice conversation.
